DEX pentru Android - și offline

DEX for Android is an OFFLINE and online Romanian Explanatory Dictionary (Dicționar Explicativ Român) based on the well-known http://dexonline.ro, while being packed together with educational games and containing many options for configuration.

Widget config

For the widget to work you need to:

1. install DEX application on the internal memory - the widget won't work if you move the app to the external card (limitation from Android)

2. install the offline database from link: http://dex.adrianvintu.net

3. configure the database path in DEX app, Preferences screen. The database path can be /sdcard/dex.dict or sdcard/external_sd/dex.dict or where ever you want. You can also copy the database file to the external micro SD card.

● over 500.000 dictionary entries

● share definitions on facebook, email etc

● create your own word list for later review - can be shared

Permissions

The app requires permissions for what Google Play reports as

Photos/Media/Files:

● modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

● read the contents of your USB storage

because it needs access to the sdcard in case you download the offline database.

● WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE

added option to automatically download offline database in the internal memory - see Preferences screen. Because of this, these two new permissions are required.

Widget-Konfiguration

Damit das Widget funktioniert, müssen Sie:

1. DEX-Anwendung im internen Speicher installieren - das Widget funktioniert nicht, wenn Sie die App auf die externe Karte verschieben (Einschränkung von Android)

2. Installieren Sie die Offline-Datenbank über den Link: http://dex.adrianvintu.net

3. Konfigurieren Sie den Datenbankpfad in der DEX-App im Bildschirm Einstellungen. Der Datenbankpfad kann /sdcard/dex.dict oder sdcard / external_sd / dex.dict sein oder wo immer Sie möchten. Sie können die Datenbankdatei auch auf die externe Micro-SD-Karte kopieren.

Marshmallow

Berechtigungen

Die App erfordert Berechtigungen für das, was Google Play als meldet

Fotos / Medien / Dateien:

● den Inhalt Ihres USB-Speichers ändern oder löschen

● Lesen Sie den Inhalt Ihres USB-Speichers

weil es Zugriff auf die SD-Karte benötigt, falls Sie die Offline-Datenbank herunterladen.

Option zum automatischen Herunterladen der Offline-Datenbank im internen Speicher hinzugefügt - siehe Bildschirm "Einstellungen". Aus diesem Grund sind diese beiden neuen Berechtigungen erforderlich.
